While I cannot say I agree with her political views, which, thankfully, I
do not know. As a veteran I would like to take this opportunity to thank
Joan Jett who gave VERY unselfishly of her time to the USO tour to
entertain troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. Like the great performers
before her who did these tours such as Bob Hope regardless of their
personal political views rather than speak out from the safety of their
home country without contributing anything at all to the men and women
called to serve Joan Jett acted and contributed to the well being of the
men and women who had to serve their nation away from their homes and
families for very long periods of time. Joan Jett, thank you.
This is not meant as any endorsement of the views of the artists whose
links are represented here. I probably disagree with the political views
of nearly all of these artists but I do enjoy their music.
